About The Role:

You will drive people-centric projects enabled by state-of-art technologies and will actively take part in the definition of the global P&O digitalization strategy and define the roadmap for our region MEA.

In This Role You Will Be Able To:

  • Orchestrate the P&O Digitalization Ecosystem within the region MEA. This includes local & regional demand alignment and coordination.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners on execution of P&O Digitalization roadmap, including e.g., IT, global and local expert teams, external vendors.
  • Work closely together with local Heads of P&O and consult in P&O Digitalization matters.
  • Partner with local P&O Head and understand business requirements to deliver measurable value through our P&O digitalization portfolio.
  • Explore options to fully make use of our global and local P&O IT Landscape in the region.
  • Communicate and advocate our P&O digitalization strategy to major partners within your area of responsibility.
  • Engage and collaborate with our global P&O Digitalization team and constantly evolve our P&O platform & tools landscape based on business needs.
  • Contribute to the global P&O digitalization strategy and roadmap definition to ensure alignment with country specific requirements and needs.
  • Create transparency about global solutions to impact regional strategy enablement and avoid service overlaps.
  • As an application owner for local/regional P&O IT Landscape, ensure compliance and operational excellence in collaboration with internal and external partners.
  • Take over budget responsibility for local & regional applications incl. productivity.
  • Manage by continuously challenging status quo and optimizing the landscape in alignment with our P&O IT strategy.
  • Identify areas for improvement and define measures and actions in collaboration with local P&O organization and in alignment with our global strategy.
  • Engage within our ecosystem to foster a thriving digitalization community.

What you need to make real what matters:

  • The basis of your success is a degree or comparable educational background in Business Administration with focus on HR or IT, Information Technology, or related majors.
  • 5-8 years relevant professional experience and a proven track record of initiatives and projects in the HR and/or HR Tech space, experience in a P&O digitalization function is preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal, consultative, and communication skills across diverse countries are part of your profile.
  • You are motivated and able to effectively navigate across different organizational boundaries as well as work in a cross-functional team environment.
  • You are proactive, self-directed, results oriented, influential, flexible, and adaptable.
  • The excellent ability to quickly grasp complex issues and situations and present them to the target groups in a structured manner, as well as the willingness to travel up to 20%, including international travel, round up your profile.

In this role you will be responsible for the Controlling activities in Corporate Financial Reporting  for different entities in the Middle East region, based in the UAE (Dubai or Abu Dhabi). This will include overall support in Controlling and country specific tasks including:

  • Budget / Forecast coordination and timely submission
  • Annual re-organization Activities
  • Profit Center / Cost Center and master data management coordination
  • Support Function Controlling including allocations
  • Coordination with Global Business Support team for Support Function Controlling and other topics
  • Country specific Business Administration topics for support functions
  • Management reporting and adhoc requests
  • Agents commission verification and payment coordination

Your Role – International, Challenging And Future-Oriented!
In this role you will be performing commissioning of SCMS Systems in the Middle East based in the UAE (Dubai or Abu Dhabi). While being part of the team, you will also be involved in the latest solutions on IOT, Cyber Security, Process Bus, etc..
General Responsibilities:
• Configure and test Bay Control Units (BCUs), RTUs/PLCs, SCMS systems
• Develop new application solutions with IEC61850, Modbus, Profibus, IEC 101, IEC 104 or other communication protocols relevant in the energy automation field
• Be one of our primary customer interfaces, including trouble shooting and commissioning support
• Occasionally assist in developing new order proposals (bills of materials, clarifying technical comments, etc.)
• Design, development, implementation, testing, and commissioning of protection and control applications and schemes
• Prepare (SAT) Site Acceptance Test procedures.
• Configure, test and perform commissioning SCMS for retrofit applications.
• Travel to job sites, customer offices and vendors factories expected to be around 75% of total time.
• Perform Training on the SCMS system to customers
Your Qualifications And Skills – Digital And Solid!
• Expected degree qualification and/or major : Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic/Instrumentation
• Relevant year of experience : 8 Years
• Knowledge of expertise :
o Advanced knowledge of substation network topology design; Ring/Star with redundancy protocol RSTP, eRSTP, PRP & HSR etc
o Practical knowledge of large 61850 network design, Human-Machine Interface / SCADA Parameterization including implementation of Substation Automation Cyber Security
o Experience in parameterizing communication protocols, IEC61850, IEC 101, IEC 104 etc
o Hands-on experience in
? Configuring and testing BCUs with logics
? Configuring HMIs with SLDs, Alarms, Events, Trends, etc
? Configuring Gateways to convert various protocols
? Configuring, integration and troubleshooting of numerical devices and meters to SCMS/RTU systems
o Be on site to lead/participate in FAT and/or SAT and/or commissioning as required by the project
o Knowledge of Cybersecurity in OT Systems including configuration/parameterization of
? Next Gen Firewall
? IDS
? Syslog Server
? RBAC
? Hardening
o Awareness of IEC 62443 and IEC 62351standards
• Any required certification : NA
• Personal skills: Adaptability, problem-solving, cross-cultural collaboration,
• Language skills: English

The following experience is not mandatory, however candidates who can demonstrate solid knowledge in these areas will be given extra consideration:
o Knowledge of Siemens relay/automation products and associated software
