About the job:

Nathan & Nathan is looking for a an experienced executive to manage our event and exhibition staffing division.

As the Manager, the role will be responsible for the development and growth of the department. Driving new business from initial engagement to securing opportunities and delivering the operation is key to the success of the role. Building significant relationships within the industry will ensure the department becomes the provider of choice. The Manager will also be responsible for reviewing & implementing the department strategy as well as identifying market trends and revising the strategy where required.

Responsibilities:
Client servicing:

  • Presenting the division to potential partners through direct communication in face-to-face meetings, telephone calls, and emails.
  • Create and be accountable for all client proposals, contracts, and any further documentation.
  • Develop and maintain strategic long-term trusting relationships with high-volume clients to accomplish organic growth and long-term company objectives.
  • Expand the relationships with existing customers by continuously proposing services that meet their objectives.
  • Resolve any issues and problems faced by customers and deal with complaints to maintain trust.

Operations & Sales:

  • Overall responsibility for ensuring all secured orders are delivered in line with the scope of work
  • Manage the team using KPIs and focusing on continuous improvement
  • Assessment on current ways of working and identify & implement improvements within the operation
  • Responsible for maintaining an order book
  • Providing forecasts and operational reports to the General Manager on department performance
  • Attend to all incoming l leads
  • Ensure the team maintain a data base of suitable talent based on the individual requirements of the clients
  • Manage any contract negotiations with customers
  • Ensure proper invoicing and collection of payments.
  • Ensuring all necessary administration, payment, and aftercare services are concluded in line with company policies.

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in a similar role, within the Event Management/ Exhibition industry
  • Strong communication skills (oral and written) are a MUST
  • Knowledge and familiarity with the Middle East market and clients.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple accounts and projects at a time
  • Proficient in relevant software/applications such as Excel, and PowerPoint.

The position is mainly responsible to maximize overall Leasing revenue, ensuring the best tenant mix, implementing of best practices, and managing key tenant relationships as a key priority.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for all retail leasing functions, which may include reviewing and negotiating retail lease transactions and agreements.
  • Plan Annual Budget for the year and monthly timeline
  • Conduct retail market analysis and data collection in tune with current market trends and present to upper management.
  • Monitor rental or lease agreements and manage/advise on the lease contracts to suit the individual requirements of the leased unites
  • Advertise for lease or rent on the property, mapping of tenant mix
  • Ensure standardized completion of all necessary paperwork and document control procedures across the portfolio
  • Creation and management of minimum design standards with the tenants across the department
  • Execute sales and marketing plans for retail portfolio
