About The Job:

IHS are seeking a Tax Manager to support the VP Group Tax based in Dubai. Taking ownership for group tax compliance and advisory (including international tax strategy), this is a great role and an exciting growing organisation to join especially in this period of expansion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating group income tax reporting, including current and deferred tax provisions, ensuring full reporting under Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX). This will be a key role which will involve liaising with group and local finance teams and working closely with the VP Group Tax.
  • Monitoring group tax compliance including review of corporate tax returns, provisions and tax positions
  • Coordinating group level tax filings including Country-by-Country Reporting
  • Monitoring tax risks, and advising on effective tax rate and cash tax payments
  • Providing tax advice for key transactions including mergers & acquisitions, disposals and integrations
  • Maintaining group transfer pricing documentation
  • Providing tax technical guidance to local teams on specialist areas of international tax

Job Competencies:

  • CTA/ACA Qualified or equivalent
  • Experience in a big 4 environment is desirable
  • Tax experience in multi-national complex environment
  • Excellent Excel skills (the role will involve preparing and developing spreadsheets to support tax compliance; and training / reviewing other users of these spreadsheets)
  • Experience in international tax advisory
  • Tax experience in Africa and Latin America would be desirable but not essential

We are currently seeking an experienced Tax Accounting Analyst who will sit in our Shared Service Center Tax specialist role, which will assist with local/group tax reports, processes and other tax matters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparation of computations of corporate income tax, deferred tax, indirect tax liabilities across different geographies (Africa, Middle East and Europe) and follow up the submission of Tax Returns

The Opportunity

IHS Towers is expanding our global footprint and we are seeking an individual to join our process management team in Dubai. The Senior Manager, Process Management (O2C), is responsible for coordinating process management and process optimization activities for Order-to-Cash (O2C) across the IHS Group – working in close collaboration with the O2C Global Process Owner (GPO), the Associate Director, Finance Operations, the Senior Specialist, Process Management (O2C), the Senior Manager, Global Process Management (GPM) and process operators in each country that IHS operates. This role is pivotal in supporting the GPO to drive standardization, simplification, and automation across O2C and ensuring that relevant stakeholders are consulted and trained to operate process changes. The Senior Manager, Process Management (O2C) will ensure effective collaboration between teams in the various countries IHS operates and the centralized GPM function.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the O2C GPO and business process operators to optimize O2C Processes through simplification, standardization, and automation.
  • Conduct workshops with business stakeholders to document business requirements and create AS-IS Process Maps, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), etc.
  • Identify and document Process Improvement opportunities based on consultation with the relevant stakeholders.
  • Develop the TO-BE processes, incorporating best practice principles and applicable Controls (e.g., SOX controls).
  • Develop KPIs/Metrics for measuring the success of Process Improvement initiatives as well as the proposed (TO-BE) processes.
  • Devise evaluation strategies to monitor O2C Process performances and determine the need for improvements, where applicable.
  • Build strong working relationships within Group Finance, Shared Services Centre, IT and other relevant stakeholders across IHS.
  • Govern and manage enterprise wide O2C Process Improvement programs/projects in collaboration with key stakeholders across Business and IT.
  • Work with Group IT to ensure the delivery/implementation of O2C specific Change Requests and other key O2C initiatives.

Key Qualifications

  • O2C functional/domain expert with good understanding of all related business processes.
  • Minimum 10 years’ work experience in a mid-large Organization or as a consultant working on O2C Process Transformation initiatives. Recent work experience in the Telecom Infrastructure sector would be considered an advantage.
  • Ability to compile, analyze and present data, findings, and progress in a concise manner.
  • Good knowledge and hands-on experience in BPMN 2.0 based Process Modelling/Mapping tools, Billing systems/solutions (like PhixFlow, etc.), ERP systems (like Dynamics 365, SAP, etc.) as well as the Microsoft Office365 suite of products.
  • Effective communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation) with the ability to communicate, challenge and influence in a constructive manner; using “Plain English” to communicate complex problems verbally and in writing.

IHS Towers is seeking an Order to Cash (O2C) Officer to join our growing team in Dubai. You will support O2C process optimisation and best practice across IHS, perform O2C Accounting for the assigned entities and finalize applicable high-quality balance sheet reconciliations which can stand the test of audit.

Responsibilities

  • Support change, process standardization & continuous improvement mindset across IHS
  • Basic knowledge of O2C best practice & trends
  • Generate customer billing data and transmit to customers (Inc managed services revenue)
  • Investigate and resolve customer billing inquiries
  • Receive customer payments via bank transfer, apply cash remittances and finalize accounts receivable entries.
  • Credit control activities including analysing new and existing customers, credit worthiness and corresponding with delinquent accounts.
  • Manage delinquent accounts (incl. query resolution with internal parties)
  • Resolve customer queries
  • Credit notes to customers, reinstate or suspend accounts, produce credit reports
  • Process invoicing adjustments at month-end and customer reconciliations
  • Prepare accounts receivable reports
  • Deep understanding of the end-to-end O2C processes
  • Demonstrate competencies in financial accounting, analytical thinking and problem solving

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum 3 years post graduate experience (essential)
  • Worked in Shared Services type environment (desirable)
  • Studying or interested in studying towards professional qualification (desirable)
