We currently offer an exciting career opportunity for dynamic Convention Sales Executive to join our Convention Sales Team.
Under the supervision of the Asst Director of Convention Sales, you will be fully engaged with promoting, selling and managing corporate and social events and groups in line with the annual sales and marketing plan according to hotel standards. In line with achieving/exceeding budget applying sales strategy of the hotel.
Demonstrate understanding and awareness of all company policies and procedures relating to Health, Hygiene and Fire Life Safety and ensure your direct reports do the same.

Your day to day:
We are currently looking for attentive CCTV Operations Officer. Under the guidance of Security Manager, responsible for implementing safety and security policies in accordance with InterContinental Hotels Group standards. Maintain a vigil on the closed circuit TV system and inform security officer on patrol duties of any unusual happenings. Conduct foot patrol, report and log any unusual observations and submit to the Security Manager. Conduct car park inspection in 3 major car parks in the Hotel Lobby, Marina and Health Club parking. Ensure checks are conducted on fire panel, fire hose real outlets and fire barriers and all other safety equipment and ensure that all are in good working order and report to the Safety Manager any item of equipment which is faulty. Responsible for the safety and security of guests, employees and establishment needs during shift. Report to Manager all hotel property deficiencies and safety or security hazards. Demonstrate understanding and awareness of all policies and procedures relating to Health, Hygiene and Fire Life Safety.Promotes the desired work culture around the five winning ways – Aim higher, Work better together, Celebrate the difference, Do the right thing & Show we care.

• High school or college graduate

Your day to day
As a Demi Chef de Partie, you will support the section chef by preparing, presenting, storing and serving a selection of dishes. You will promote the desired work culture around the five core values of Trust, Integrity, Respect, One Team and Service of the InterContinental Hotels Group and the brand ethos.
- Communicates politely and display courtesy to guests and internal customers
- Provides direction to the Kitchen helpers, including Cooks, Kitchen Attendants and Stewards
- Communicates to his/her superior any difficulties, guest or internal customer comment and other relevant information
- Establishes and maintains effective employee working relationships
- Attends and participates in daily briefings and other meetings as scheduled
- Attends and participates in training sessions as scheduled
- Prepares in advance food, beverage, material and equipment needed for the service
- Maintains a clean and hygienic work area
- Implements the hotel and department regulations, policies and procedures including but not limited to:
- House Rules and Regulation
- Health and Safety
- Grooming
- Standard Operations Procedures
- HACCP
- Performs related duties and special projects as assigned
- Follows the JANA System rules
- Demonstrate Awareness of OH&S policies and procedures and ensure all procedures are conducted safely and within OH&S guidelines
- Be aware of duty of care and adhere to occupational, health and safety legislation, policies and procedures
- Be familiar with property safety, first aid and fire and emergency procedures and operate equipment safely and sensibly
- Initiate action to correct a hazardous situation and notify supervisors of potential dangers
- Log security incidents and accidents in accordance with hotel requirements
What we need from you
Ideally, you’ll have some or all of the following competencies and experience we’re looking for:
- Must have similar experience working in either a luxury restaurant or a 5* hotel environment
- Must have strong communication skills
- Committed to serving food of the highest quality
- Experience in French cuisine is ideal.
