ROLE OVERVIEW:

The Client Service team is the backbone of Guidepoint’s success. The team is responsible for efficiently delivering Guidepoint’s services to our clients around the world. We work hard to understand each client’s unique business questions and help them gain the critical insights they need to stay informed and make better, faster business decisions.

As an Associate on the Client Service team, your job is to understand your client’s unique business questions and identify the experts who can best provide the answers. You will find and recruit new experts into our network of over one million Guidepoint Advisors, determining which ones are best suited to speak with the client. For many of our employees, the Associate role represents their first job post-college, and it provides a unique opportunity to put core business skills into practice, as well as gain exposure to a wide range of industries and disciplines.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Review and analyze client research requests and use a range of resources to identify the most relevant subject matter experts across geographies, industries, and topics for each project
  • Work with Project Managers to develop strategies for satisfying each client project request
  • Utilize LinkedIn, press releases, case studies, and the internet to identify the best experts for our clients to get their strategic or investment questions answered
  • Identify the best leads and invite them to join our network to participate in consultations with our clients
  • Screen experts to determine their suitability for each specific client project and develop professional profiles to present to your clients

WHAT YOU HAVE:

  • Bachelor’s degree with a high level of academic achievements
  • Young professional with first working experience
  • Strong communication skills and excellent English is essential; Fluency in Arabic is preferred
  • Desire to work in a sourcing/lead generation type of role
  • Demonstrated ability to work both individually and as part of a team
  • Outgoing personality with the ability to speak with people at all professional levels

OVERVIEW:

We are seeking an organized, personable, and detail-oriented office coordinator to join our organization in Dubai. You will coordinate various office tasks and functions to ensure office operations run smoothly at all times. Tasks include, but are not limited to, internal administrative coordination, external special projects, errands related to government services, and tracking/maintaining inventories of office supplies.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Support key functions in HR, Accounts/Finance, Legal/Compliance, Client Services, Business Development, and Management
  • Help support with bank & govt services including telecom, visa, and all PRO duties
  • Screen calls to landline and administer office schedules & calendars
  • Follow office policies and workflow procedures. Suggest changes for improvements in efficiency
  • Maintain office equipment (i.e. ensure printers and equipment are operational and fully stocked with supplies)
  • Make reservations for external and internal meetings and support meeting needs, including sending reminders to ensure attendance
  • Maintain the office space’s general cleanliness and organization. Coordinate with cleaning company and other external service providers
  • Track and manage orders from couriers, Amazon, etc.
  • Maintain vendor & landlord relationships for any needs as they may arise
  • Report any updates or pertinent issues that need addressing to relevant management
  • Assist with onboarding and set up of new staff

WHAT YOU HAVE: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in administration, management or related field preferred
  • 5+ years working in office administration preferred
  • 2+ years work supporting HR, accounts/finance, or legal/compliance
  • Computer literate and proficient using Microsoft Suite
  • Experience using office machinery (printer, copier, phone systems etc.)
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Outstanding communicator in English both verbally and written
  • Arabic language skills preferred

Role Responsibilities:

  • With higher management, help to develop a sales strategy designed to achieve revenue targets.

  • Build and maintain relationships with prospective clients within specified MENA markets across the spectrum of institutional and investment firm clients. Proactively seek out opportunities.

  • Work with, and help grow, a team of sales associates to supplement & support your role.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 4-7 years of sales experience required- with a focus surrounding the financial/investment sector.

  • Familiarity with Salesforce and similar CRM applications highly preferred.
  • Experience at selling a subscription-based B2B information service preferred.

Role Overview

Guidepoint is seeking qualified candidates for an open position in business development at Guidepoint’s regional office in the UAE. Applicants would be responsible for selling access to our subscription-based research service and all other Guidepoint products and services. This role focuses primarily on sales to regional Private Equity firms, Asset Managers, Investment Banks, large Family Offices, and Sovereign Wealth Fund clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop a sales strategy designed to achieve revenue targets.
  • Generate immediate revenue by capitalizing on existing relationships in the sector.
  • Build upon your existing strong knowledge and understanding of the competitive institutional landscape and be able to effectively articulate our value proposition accordingly.
  • Work with Marketing Dept to develop lead generation campaigns.
  • Work independently to drive sales plans and achieve targets set for the institutional sector.
  • Build and maintain relationships with prospective clients within specified MENA + Turkey markets
  • Proactively seek out opportunities via desktop research and leveraging existing contacts/network.
  • Cold calling & email introductions necessary. Attending relevant industry events as needed.
  • Develop and maintain a robust & healthy pipeline of qualified prospects from regional Private Equity firms, Asset Managers, Investment Banks, Family Offices, and Sovereign Wealth Funds.
  • Work with a team and leverage all internal resources available to supplement & support your role.
  • Have regular and consistent prospect meetings/calls scheduled in daily and weekly cycles.
  • Report and provide client/prospect feedback to sales leaders and higher management.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Mandatory 4-7 years of fund/investment firm experience, or a B-to-B sales role focused on the financial/investment sector.
  • Evidence of strong relationships within regional PE firms, SWFs, Asset Management firms, etc.
  • Experience in managing sales processes, from lead generation to relationship management.
  • A sales/BD professional able to handle complex institutional clients at different levels of seniority.
  • Highly astute research and planning capabilities. Must show high levels of organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate confidently, effectively and persuasively, over the phone, in writing, and face-to-face.
  • Clearly demonstrated ability to work independently and within teams.
