Sales Solutions Specialist is a professional position, with AMEA regional scope which create opportunities to improve our customers’ supply chains and your career growth ins one of the world’s largest transportation and logistics service provider.
As a cross-functional project leader, you will lead the design and implementation of customized transportation and logistics solutions for our Large Accounts at regional level. You will frequently collaborate with different levels at FedEx and Customers from start until project closure. Effective problem solving, communication and project management are core skills to make you successful in this role.
Solutions Design and Implementation
- Collect and analyze transportation and logistics requirements from Customers/Sales
- Design and propose customized solutions transportation or logistics services through FedEx Portfolio of
- Services and selected external service providers, including the development of operating plans, process redesign and support of proposal development.
- Lead the key initiatives to achieve department objectives, such as new industry solutions, capability enhancement or knowledge transfer
- Explore and secure support from internal, Operating Companies and external resources for solutions development in order to achieve customer satisfaction and revenue growth
Project Management
- Form and lead cross-functional project teams design customer transportation or logistics solutions to meet customers’ requirements
- Lead the implementation of projects to meet project pre-agreed timeline and deliverables
- Effective communication with project team members (functional departments in the country/overseas and sister company) will be required to run the projects successfully.
Position Requirements
- Work experience in Aerospace, Industrial or Fashion & Retails verticals
- Bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, finance, engineering or information systems Related.
- 6 years’ experience in business planning, logistics and distribution planning, engineering, consulting, computer technologies or related, of which 4 years in program management and/or global/international transportation industry
- Proficiency in project management to lead multiple dynamic and regional customer projects
- Experience and knowledge of developing customized service in international express transportation company is preferred
- Expertise in one or more on the following areas would be an advantage:
- Freight Forwarding
- Data Analytics
- Supply Chain Consulting
- Business communication skill in English
- Strong leadership and teamwork skills
- Strong communication skills to communicate with multiple levels of management and staff
- Solid analytical skills, business sense, and the ability to work independently
- Some travel is required
