About The Job:
Currently we are looking for a Pre-Sales Consultant to strengthen our QHSE Consultancy team in Dubai.
The role will report to the Head of Section Pre-Sales for the QHSE Consultancy Europe, Middle East and Africa region team and may involve travel to customer sites within the regions supported.
We are seeking a consultant that can take a pre-sales role. Pre-Sales includes working closely with our Sales organization, responsible for answering technical questions in a sales phase, hold demo of Synergi life. You will actively work with external customers in the sales phase, and work closely with our technical consultants during the implement and configuration phase of the Synergi Life software in line with customers’ requirements.
Synergi Life is a module-based application used to collect, process and analyze information related to Incident and Risk Management.
Key tasks:
- Pre-Sales activities like presentation of Synergi Life to potential customers
- Answer potential client’s requirements
- Advise external customers best practice in order that they get the best possible ROI on their Synergi Life instance
- Attend workshops in order to gather the customer requirements and then prepare the appropriate specification documents and scopes of work
- Project management of smaller implementation and configuration projects
- Work in an agile methodology together with the customer to meet their requirements
- Identify opportunities to add value to customer’s implementations
Position Qualifications:
- Bachelor Degree
- Consultant and sales minded
- Experience of relational databases (SQL Server/Oracle)
- Windows Server / Web technologies
- Programming language experience (SQL)
- Languages – English)
- HSEQ knowledge will be an advantage
- Knowledge about Azure cloud based services will be an advantage
- Knowledge about Cyber Security will be an advantage

Region Southern Europe, Middle East, Africa and Latin America is therefore seeking the Working Capital Specialist.
The Working Capital Specialist is part of the Finance Planning & Analytics team and reports to the Head of Finance Planning & Analysis. The Working Capital Specialist is working with the relevant stakeholders to minimize risks related to AR and improve our working capital situation. The person in this role is able to drive the collections process within the region, focusing on Middle East and Africa, in accordance with the different teams and stakeholders involved. Being persistent and persuasive in the approach, the role will contribute improve DNV’s working capital performance.
Primary tasks of this role:
- Close monitoring of ageing of AR in the Market of Middle East and Africa.
- Provides details behind AR KPIs.
- Prioritizes AR efforts where payback is greatest when needed.
- Manages the forecast of AR positions towards YE.
- Works closely with the Business Controllers and BA Center resources and identify actions to improve the AR situation.
- Develops close relationships with relevant stakeholders including Project Managers, Colleagues in the Finance & Performance organization (Regional and BA Center) and in GSS Finance.
- Conducts review meetings with relevant PMs in cooperation with project controllers.
- Executes the BA AR processes and liaisons with relevant GSS point of contact, including investigating issues and facilitating internal communication.
- Follows up of outstanding AR following agreed regional procedure to maximize cash flow.
- Communicates effectively with customers to support the reduction of outstanding AR.
- Participates in customer A/R meetings when relevant.
Position Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in Finance or equivalent
- 3-5 years of relevant work experience
- Essential: Very high level of English
- Excellent Excel skills

You will help clients in the Middle East to implement, improve and demonstrate their commitment to sustainability. You will get the opportunity to lead and develop the work on a wide range of sustainability services from strategy, training, carbon markets, safety, health & environment to reporting and assurance.
You will be expected to support the growth of our sales and delivery for a range of sustainability services and may have speciality and expertise in several of them, including:
- Perform Verification of CDM, JI and ETU
- Perform Verification of Corporate Greenhouse Gas Inventory, Carbon footprint against Airport Carbon Standard;
- Voluntary Carbon Offset Program: Qualified Validator/Verifier/Technical Reviewer for Clean Development Mechanism/Verified Carbon Standard projects;
- Perform site visits to review and verify on-site conditions and data;
- Benchmarking, stakeholder engagement, and support to companies’ governance arrangements for sustainability;
- Sustainability report writing and/or Sustainability report assurance;
- Environmental and Social Due Diligence services;
- Execution of second party review and verification project on KPIs, such as GHG, potable water use, waste management; Human rights;
- Training and capacity building on sustainability; Stakeholder engagement;
- Supply chain management and/or supply chain audit on Labour & Human right, Business Ethics, Environment, Health & Safety
- Human Resource, Business Ethics. Environment or Health & Safety
- Business Development and proposal/RFP response development;
You will be expected to lead / support project teams as well as helping to grow our business through the following activities:
